Lies Tech Companies Don’t Want You To Know.

Majority of tech companies over-exaggerate and outright lie to get you to be a part of their service plan and buy their products. Don’t believe the hype—here is a list of the three most common lies being told by other service tech providers.

WiFi Speeds
Your ISP will most likely claim that your internet connection should be able to deliver speeds up to 20 mbps, which is pretty darn fast, but let’s not forget about that WiFi router you have—claiming data speeds at 1gbps, now that’s faster than being able to contemplate the word  F-A-S-T. Where’s the speed? The fact is, you’ll never get to see GB speeds, not even if you have Google’s Fiber Networks wrapped around your fingers—the world is not ready, yet. On average, internet speeds will range about 15-60 mbps depending on your locations and whether or not your ISP has a cap. So why advertise ridiculously fast speeds? You WiFi router is a highway for streaming multiple devices simultaneously, the bigger the highway—the faster people can get connected.

High End Cables
Despite pricing differences, don’t let anyone fool you into thinking that 24K Gold Monster HDMI cables offer a better visual quality for your Ultra 4K TV, they don’t. In fact, a regular HDMI cable does the same. The following applies for other wires and cables in the market, but because it is near impossible to quantify the performance of these products, manufactures can easily falsely advertise and count their money stacks.

Storage Space
When you get a new smartphone or sign up for a universal cloud system, there’s a certain amount of storage space that you won’t have access to; this space, usually reserved for apps, drivers, and whatnot, normally takes over more than 30% of your total storage. A 16 gigabyte iPhone 5, for instance, actually has 13.8 GB of available storage. A 64GB Surface Pro only has 23 GB of usable space—the same can be said about clouds, at home networks, even portable hard-drives.
